The Minnesota Vikings moved on from a number of their veteran players this offseason, prompting many to wonder exactly how the team will fare during the 2023 season. That being said, the majority of what many would consider the main Vikings core group of players remained intact for at least one more season.
While Dalvin Cook, Adam Thielen, and Eric Kendricks arguably should be considered members from the 2022 “core” that are no longer around, it would be hard to argue with the group that Seth Walder of ESPN considers Minnesota’s main core (or top five players) heading into 2023:
