BYU baseball has endured a roller coaster season that currently has the Cougars at 19-24. However, they have a winning record in West Coast Conference play at 11-10.
The Cougars went 3-1 last week and have won seven of their last eight much in part to the performance of their second baseman, Andrew Pintar.
BYU faced the solid USD Toreros squad this past week and thanks to Pintar’s stellar week, the Cougars came away with the series win against USD, who is 29-10.
In the opening game of the three-game set in San Diego, Pintar launched two home runs.
